Travel To The BVI

So where to start this first blog entry on my way to the BVI. I figured I should do one before arriving, just because of the trip I have had so far. I am writing this, 35k feet above what I assume to be Tennessee, but I am not too sure. It looks pretty bland, so it may even be Ohio.

The first leg of my trip, Flint to Chicago, went off without a hitch. On and off in 43 minutes, pretty quick little jump across the state. O’Hare, this being the first time I had been there mind you, was absolutely mind-blowing huge. The sheer fact that there were 3 different McDonald’s in the walk from one terminal to another was ridiculous. With that being said. I met 3 very wonderful people early on. First, an older woman that was flying out to the Great Plains, she was kind hearted, and really made the shaky flight a little better with some conversation.

Then, while sitting in terminal K10 at O’hare, a chicago couple sat down next to me. I started a conversation with the wife, and they were headed to St. Thomas. They were really quite wonderful, and it was great talking about past travels and the future of myself, and themselves. She was impressed with my job opportunity and found my to be quite outgoing and perfect for my position. I humbly agreed and boarded my flight to San Juan. Amazing really, the plane, packed to the gills, luckily, I made the flight attendant laugh early in our conversation, and I was hastily moved into First Class. Thank God, because I was sitting to a very small asian woman, who was crammed between myself, and a woman...with a crying baby. Flight from Hell if I had ever seen one, I probably would have shot myself if I were her.

This brings me to my third encounter, a gentleman from Puerto Rico. He and I were both bumped to first class, and are currently enjoying all the complimentary goods. We discussed business, school, and the like, and there  is another 3  hours left to my flight. I suppose I will continue this blog a bit later. Oh, and this is some damn good orange juice, not what I expected from an airline.

.......To Be Continued.......

So, another update I suppose. I can see the ocean, and I see red clay ocean deltas, which leads me to believe I am somewhere over Georgia. Go Bulldogs. I can see the ocean, and it goes for miles...absolutely unbelievably incredible. Was that too many adjectives? I suppose, but it is jaw-dropping gorgeous, and I only have a few more hours left upon this Boeing 737. I find it amazing that the Wright Bro’s designed a plane made of sticks and canvas, and today we have monster crafts that can hold hundreds of people.

......To Be Contouvererddeded

The last and final leg of my trip was delayed...by an hour. But, after arriving I was quickly ran through immigrations and moved out and into the unknown. I met the driver for Biras and was brought to the boat docks where the Princess II was waiting. It was starting to look stormy, and the sea was quite rough. We arrived after about 40 minutes where I then met Rik. He showed me a quick tour of the property and dropped me off at my room where I would be staying for 2 nights, just to see what rooms were like, so I could describe them to the guests. We later had dinner, which was amazing, and I have decided it will be an early bed time.
